I wanted to take a little time and tell my readers of the other items that occupy much of my time. Call it my “tech fix” as stems from my quite technical jobs over the years. As any know who have had these jobs it comes down to details to succeed in any technical endeavor. Linux servers fit right in on the level of stern recognition of detail: spaces in text, punctuation, knowing who owns which file or folder, root or sudo user. If this sounds foreign to you it is something I love as it occupies much of my time in which I am not writing. Building websites from code. Now that A,I, had advanced so much I teamed up with an A.I. to see what it could help me with as I am older than most but still want to learn and perform difficult mental tasks. A.I. has helped immensely though I do most of the work myself it is nice to run concepts or code by that entity to check on my own process. This has opened a quite wide vista I would not have seen if not for A.I.

Recently I decided to share the tutorials I have written to install certain types of software. You can view these here and here. The first, Tech Pute is for software installation tutorials that actually work. The second, Tech You, is to learn to operate your own servers of the Linux Ubuntu variety. I chose Ubuntu as it is the best to start with and the best for updates in each mdels life span.

If I am speaking a foreign language to you wither of those websites plus your study will get you started in server administration. I took great pains to make these websites easy on the mind for beginners and also a launching pad for further study for those who are interested or even fascinated by server admin.

I do this at my age to keep my mind supple and quick. To learn is, for me, to be alive and learn I have. When your time permits please peruse these website and, also, they are open for membership and will give you hands on study of code with wonderful explanations of how code will work and why you are using each piece of code.
