Wall

A small potion of this website retains the last name of an old friend past: J. Wall. He lived in the far north of his and my state and was born on a cattle ranch. You ain’t seen common sense unless you had met Mr. Wall. He was driving at twelve and that included four wheel drives, tractors and large trucks.

Later in life he lived in a small house on a river on a block of houses he owned. He died a multi-millionaire and lived like he made two hundred a month. He never gave a hint to anyone that he had that much in his bank account. He lived modestly and drove old cars he fixed or had fixed. Quiet and not shy, he tore a path to make his life small rather than large. An idiosyncrasy was he.

Wall is a fitting subject for this website as I to do not want to be known but for my words, which are the only thing I have to communicate with. I rarely use my smart phone but to receive messages which I answer when I find them. I am not sloppy or causal about cells phones it is just that I hate what they do to people. Used to be that the phone rang and you picked it up to answer, spoke for some period of time then went about being a human being. Our first phone, when I was a kid, spoke to an operator to whom you gave the number for her to connect to and waited until that phone was picked up.

No computers, just books or TV. I think I watched less TV than I read books. That was the time when anyone acting as a married couple had twin beds on TV. No double beds and queen or king were not yet invented. A peck on the cheek as sexy as TV got in those days and morality was ever so much higher than today. Funny that. No porn was distributed as it was against the law. Now, with porn legal, we also have high crime, drugs, robberies as common place and murder out the rear of our mufflers.

It goes to show that the human race is kind of shaky in these times. Where did religion go? It ain’t cool now but for some, whereas, everyone I knew in the 1950s went to church and did their utmost to be charitable to others and kept their own business private. Times have changed and the time has come to start reading the bible and learning of God, Jesus and what these times we are living in imply. It will soon be too late to make God’s acquaintance and it isn’t me saying this it is the bible saying this. All the edge pieces of the puzzle have long been in place and the inner puzzle is coming together nicely. Is that the face of Jesus?
